November 5,2013 was my first day at the facility. The facility is at Gordon Lane in Fullerton. On our way to the facility it took us about 20mins what took us so long was a train that passed for about 10mins. The time to arrive was at 3:45pm and because it was our first time there we left at 630pm. We all met up in the lounge. We didn't do much it was just the orientation and feeding. My partners name is Vanessa Gamez and our Instructors name is Mrs.Wulf. We have rooms 4ABC 5ABC 6ABC 7ABC 8ABC. Every letter is another bed, there was 3 beds in each room. Vanessa fed Mrs. Parker and I fed Jean. It went well and she ate about 80% of her food. After we were finished feeding them their dinner we got to walk around and get used to the facility. I didn't get to meet my residents but I got to see some of them from the outside of their room.

starting fresh
Our last 20% project wasn't going so well due to the time managing therefor Kali and I are starting a different blog. Our new 20% project is going to tell you how it is being in the medical field as a CNA. CNA stands for Certified Nursing Assistant. What a CNA does is they go to a facility and take care of the elderly. We are in training to check their vital signs, bath them, feed them, do an occupied/unoccupied bed, and so much more. My first day at the residents home (the facility) will be on Tuesday. November 5, 2013. I have to wear a uniform witch is black or gray scrubs with my hair slick back and up into a bun, and white leather shoes. I will be assigned with a partner and the days i will be going is on Tuesdays and Saturdays. On Tuesdays I have to be there at 4:00pm-8:00pm and on Saturdays I have to be there at 3:00am-7:00pm. This is a wonderful opportunity to join
in because I a high school student so it is free to take this class.
