2nd Semester 3rd Blog

On February 22nd I went to clinical s at six thirty in the morning. We had my original instructor that day because shes only going to be there on Saturdays and Mondays. I was put in the middle hall. The middle hall is station two. I had room 17 - 21. Our shift didn't end till about one forty five. Our lunch break was at ten thirty in the morning. When I got my schedule I went on the floor and I started to give out coffee to the residents. About thirty minutes after I gave them there coffee I was passing out trays. Every Saturday I go They eat scrambled eggs, toast bread, oatmeal or cereal, and they drink a glass of juice and a carton of milk. After all the residents finished eating we took out the linen basket. When we take out linen baskets we start to clean up the residents.

2nd Semester 2nd blog

On February 11,2014 was my day back to clinical because it was holiday schedule at school. On Tuesday I had a CNA who likes to do hands on work herself. I asked her if she wanted help, but she finished all her work herself. I asked my instructor if I can go help other CNA's and she allowed me too. I helped two different CNA's that day. That Tuesday no one was allowed in the dinning room/activity room because many of the residents were ill. All the feeding was done in the residents rooms. I also got to watch a treatment for the residents breathing tube. It looked amazing as the resident's treatment was happening steam had came out from the holes in the mask. After ten minutes passed we had to check up on the resident; we left the resident because the residents daughter wanted some privacy. That day was an easy day because it was a very slow day.
